20.000.000 Passengers at Airport Weeze

A bouquet, Ryanair tickets and an invitation to the airport restaurant were the presents from the airport for Floor Labordus. Floor was the 20th million passenger since the start of the operations in 2003. This was the reason for CEO Ludger van Bebber to personally greet the anniversary passenger.

The first scheduled flight departed at the 1st of May 2003. 600.000 annual passengers used the airport up till 2007. When Ryanair based several of their aircraft on Airport Weeze in 2007, these passenger volumes increased rapidly. In 2011, the airport was happy to greet its 10th million passenger.  The 20 million anniversary is celebrated by the airport team.
