Making take-off a breeze

As a general rule, each person needs their own travel document.
The type of documents depends on the destination. The embassy or consulate of the destination country will tell you whether a passport, child ID card or identity card is required.

If your underage children are travelling with relatives or friends, remember that all legal guardians must have verifiably consented to the trip. This also applies if only one of the two legal guardians is travelling with them.

The easiest way is to carry a written consent form signed by all legal guardians. This data must include:

  • Surname, first name, date of birth of the child
  • Purpose and destination of the trip
  • Duration of the trip
  • Names and contact details of all legal guardians

Duty-Free / Travel-Value

In duty-free shopping, a distinction is made between duty-free and travel-value.
Duty-free shopping is only possible for travellers whose destination lies outside the EU or on the Canary Islands. If your travel destination lies within the EU, you can take advantage of travel-value offers. Only duty-free tobacco goods may no longer be sold to travellers within the EU.
You will find the duty-free and travel-value shop in the departure area on the first floor behind the security checkpoint.

Smoking

For our passengers, there is a smoking lounge in the security area next to the Italian café “Tramezzini”. In a cosy atmosphere, you can enjoy a coffee or espresso, or a glass of wine with small snacks. You can really enjoy yourself here!
In the public areas of the airport, visitors and travellers are still requested to use the smoking facilities in front of the terminal building or on the outdoor terrace at the panorama restaurant.
