Royal Air Force Museum

Germany’s first and only Royal Air Force Museum invites you to a trip down memory lane, through 45 years history of Royal Air Force presence in Laarbruch, Weeze and the Lower Rhine area. The Museum can be found in the former St Peter’s Anglican church. It’s aim is not only to show you the military side, but also how the station played it‘s part in the local community . Within the Museum, you will find several aircraft including a Canberra PR7, a Hunter T7, but also several cockpits and military vehicles, (Fire Engine, Police Land Rover) as well as the documented history of the station.

The museum opened to the public in 2007. It is located in the premises of the former Anglican church, the former savings bank now dedicated to the RAF regiment, and the British ASTRA cinema on the site of the former RAF base Laarbruch, now the civilian airport Weeze.
